Steel in the limelight
Among those taking part in the exhibition is C My World Sdn Bhd, which is renowned internationally for its steel jewellery collections.



The collections, which now include a diamond series, are usually only sold overseas. The exhibition is one of the rare times that they are available locally.



"We have many new designs that I am sure will appeal to those with a taste for fine jewellery," said C My World Sdn Bhd director, creator and designer, Jonathan Yew Chee Ming.



Combining expressive craftsmanship with the state-of-the-art technology, C My steel jewellery has won several international awards including the Japan Good Design Award 2005 and the Taiwan Golden Statue Quality Products Award 2006.



The collections pander to men and women, and include pendants, bracelets, bangles, earrings, pens and cufflinks.



The brand has markets and fans from China to Europe



Its new diamond series has been well received, especially in the Middle East.



Intrade Malaysia '09 is organised by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation and supported by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.



The exhibition is now in its third year, following the success of the first two in the last two years.



Intrade Malaysia '09, which focuses on 11 major industries, promises business opportunities for international and domestic exhibitors.



The first two days of the exhibition are open to trade visitors only, and those below 18 years old will not be admitted.



The public will be allowed entry on Thursday.
