COMMUTERS of Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) have complained of slippery floors and staircase at the Mutiara Damansara MRT station.

Sas, a frequent MRT user, said the staircase is wet whenever it rained.

“Parts of the roof are leaking and there are no signages to caution commuters.

“It’ s not safe to use the staircase as it is wet and slippery.”

He urged the management to address this issue.

A Prasarana spokesman said measures were being taken to ensure the comfort and safety of commuters on rainy days.

“This includes installing perforated panels, louvres and glass panels.”

He said passengers could use the elevator on the ground level on rainy days.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and advise MRT users to be extra cautious and avoid wet areas during a downpour.”
