Stray  dogs roaming the Bandar Sri Damansara SD12 commercial area can pose health threats, such as rabies, if the local authorities do not address the issue urgently.

A member of the public, Shaheed Yusof, told ACTIONLINE that stray dogs were roaming the area, especially near parking lots.

“As a result, some motorists fear getting into their vehicles.“There are too many stray dogs in Bandar Sri Damansara.

“The local authorities need to take swift action to solve this problem.”

Petaling Jaya City Council public relations officer Zainun Zakaria said they would seek the assistance of the vector division soon to round up the stray dogs.

“We will forward the complaint to the vector division soon. They will go and catch the dogs.

“People should not disturb the dogs if they think the animals could pose a danger to them,” she said.
