MOTORISTS plying Jalan Kusta, off Jalan Hospital, in Sungai Buloh are upset that no action has been taken on potholes along the stretch although complaints had been lodged months ago.

A motorist, who declined to be identified, said he learnt that the road was under the jurisdiction of the Selayang Municipal Council.

He said he had lodged several complaints with the council.

“So far, no action has been taken,” he said.

He urged the authorities to patch the potholes immediately to prevent accidents.

A Selayang Municipal Council spokesman said the council had received complaints on the potholes in Jalan Kusta.

“Resurfacing work in Jalan Kusta is carried out at
night to prevent traffic congestion.”

She said some stretches of the road were under the jurisdiction of the Public Works Department.

She said the resurfacing work was delayed as the council was waiting for allocations from the Malaysian Road Records Information System.
