Joggers at the Shah Alam Lake Gardens park, opposite the PKNS Complex, are worried about the rusty entrance gate.

A regular at the park, identified only as Kamaruddin, said the gate had been in disrepair for more than six months.

“The gate’s hinges are rusty causing the structure to tilt. It needs to be fixed urgently before it falls on someone,” he said.

ACTIONLINE:

Shah Alam Municipal Council (MBSA) Landscape Department has assured the public that it will repair the gate by the end of the week.

A spokesman from MBSA said its officers would check and repair the gate for the safety of the park’s visitors.

“We thank the public for informing us on cases of faulty amenities so that action can be taken,” he said.

The spokesman said if the public have any complaint, they could lodge a report at www.aduan.mbsa.gov.my/ or call the toll-free line at 1800-88-4477.
