Fuel prices continue their climb this week, with both petrol and diesel retail prices all registering an increase across the board.

KUALA LUMPUR: Fuel prices continue their climb this week, with both petrol and diesel retail prices all registering an increase across the board.

The Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry, in a statement this evening, announced that RON 95 petrol will be priced at RM2.21 per litre (a one sen from RM2.20), while RON 97 petrol will retail at RM2.52 per litre (a four sen increase from RM2.48).

Diesel will retail at RM2.14 per litre (a nine sen increase from RM2.05) this week.

The new prices take effect at midnight tonight and are for the period of Sept 14 to 20.

The weekly fuel pricing system came into effect on March this year.
