KUANTAN: Pahang has made full recovery from floods, with the remaining 19 victims at a flood shelter in Raub being allowed to return home today.

State Civil Defence Force director Colonel Zainal Yusoff said the 19 people from 6 families - who were sheltered at the SK Ulu Atok relief centre - were allowed to return to their homes at 11.30am today.

He said that good weather led to the evacuees being allowed to go back to their village and for the closure of the sole remaining relief centre in Raub.

"The 19 evacuees had been sheltered at SK Ulu Atok since yesterday," he said.

Yesterday at 10.20am, the 19 villagers were evacuated due to flash floods caused by continuous heavy rain.
