KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Razak continues his attack against DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang, calling the latter 'dishonest' with regard to the issue of the RM2.6 billion donation from Saudi Arabia.

The latest 'social media attack' comes after the former Prime Minister yesterday challenged Lim to admit that he was aware Najib had returned a large chunk of the donation.

"Yang Berhormat Lim Kit Siang is a DAP leader, father to the Finance Minister (Lim Guan Eng) and has been in politics for more than 50 years. But it looks like he is not an honest person.

"Yesterday I challenged Lim to admit that I had returned a large portion or all of the RM2.6 billion but the fact was deliberately hidden by Pakatan.

"This morning, he (Lim) issued a press statement and regarded me as insolent for challenging him to admit that the RM2.6 billion is from Arab donors.

"I challenged him on something else and he answered something else...," he said on his Facebook page.

He added that Lim's response was proof why the rakyat had to be careful with statements made by DAP members in the future.

He also stressed that he would present more documented proof on the issue.

"If Lim does not want to admit that he knew I returned the RM2.6 billion and maintains the perception and accusation that I stole the RM2.6 billion and pocketed it, there is no need to openly lie like this.

"We leave it be first if Lim refuses to admit. I will present more documented evidence and I will ask him again," Najib said.

On Monday, Najib revealed three documents involving an agreement of financial support from the former Saudi King, the late King Abdullah Abdul Aziz, confirming that the RM2.6 billion was a donation from the Saudi royal family.

Najib claimed that the three documents were sent by King Abdullah, with one of it bearing the words 'Recognition of Contribution to the Islamic World' dated Feb 1, 2011.

Two other documents were financial statements dated Feb 24 and Nov 25 the same year.
