CHANGSHU: Jordan striker Baha' Faisal Mohamad could turn out to be a nightmare for Malaysia when the two teams meet in Group C at the AFC Under-23 Championships in China on Saturday.

Baha' impressed in Jordan's 2-2 draw against Saudi Arabia yesterday, where he used his individual skills to score both goals for his country.

Jordan coach Richard Brunskill is hoping his charge can turn on the heat when they face Malaysia at the Changshu Stadium.

"He did really well (against Saudi), he carried out his duties well as the team captain," said Brunskill.

"He put pressure on the opposition and showed his finishing ability in his first goal and individual skills in the second.

"We had expected his performance to be strong as he has been used to playing at a higher level with the senior squad."

Brunskill, however, admitted that he was disappointed his team did not collect full points against Saudi Arabia after they had led 2-0.

"The players are disappointed but we will try to forget what happened and prepare for Malaysia.

"Malaysia lost to Iraq, so they will definitely be looking to score points, it will not be an easy match."
