KUALA LUMPUR: Nicholas Fung will make his third straight appearance in the Eurasia Cup at Glenmarie Golf and Country Club on Jan 12-14.

“I must thank captain Arjun Atwal for selecting me for this tournament.

“I do not want to think too much. Everyone has a chance in match play events.

“Captain Arjun did his homework and picked the highest ranked golfers in Asia...I believe we have a strong team,” said Nicholas.

Malaysian Gavin Green, the current Asian Tour’s Order of Merit leader, will make his debut in the tournament.

“I am super excited. I enjoy team events as I had spent four years playing for my university (University of New Mexico) and this will be my first team event since I left school,” said the 23-year-old Gavin.

Last year’s Team Asia captain Jeev Milka Singh congratulated Atwal on his Twitter account for selecting a quality team.

“This is an excellent team put together by captain Arjun. The team have the right mix of youth and experience golfers.

“All the best to the captain and his golfers. Go get it done guys
