KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's up-and-coming divers made the nation proud on the final day of the Australian Diving Grand Prix on Sunday.

Hanis Nazirul Jaya Surya and Jellson Jabillin came in third in the men's 10m platform synchronised event with rounds of 47.40, 33.00, 64.68, 65.70, 58.56, 65.28 for a 334.62 total at the Gold Coast Aquatics Centre.

Russia’s Nikita Shleikher-Aleksandr Belevtsev won on 390.84 while Britain’s James Heatly-Lucas Thomson (341.70) were second.

In the mixed 3m springboard synchronised event, Nur Dhabitah Sabri-Gabriel Gilbert Daim took third with a five-dive total of 265.71 points.

Russian pair Nadezhda Bazhina-Nikita Shleikher came in second on 271.20 while Germans Martin Wolfram-Tina Punzel won on 276.78.

Dhabitah then came in fourth in the women's 3m individual springboard after scoring 43.50, 37.20, 66.00, 63.00, 63.00 for a 272.70 total while Jellson was sixth in the men's 10m platform final with 329.80
